      POSITION VACANCY

Cherokee County Health Department is accepting applications for the following full-time position:

 NUTRTIONIST I

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Job involves assessment of client’s nutritional status and needs,

providing enhanced nutrition services that are relevant to the client’s health outcomes and goals in the

WIC Program.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Graduation from a four-year college or university with a

bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition dietetics or public health nutrition; or a bachelor’s degree in

home economics with 12 hours in nutrition coursework with one year of experience in the field of

nutrition; or an equivalent combinationof education and experience.

Minimum Education and Experience for a Trainee Appointment- Graduation from a four-year college or

universitywith a bachelor’s degree in home economics with 12 hours in nutrition coursework; or an

equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Copy of college transcript is required with submission of a State Application (PD-107)

 

SALARY:        Base pay: $25,398-$36,558
