 BB&T Bank Robbery in Murphy, NC

 On Friday December 29, 2006 at approximately 5:55 PM the Murphy West Branch of BB&T was robbed. This branch is located on US HWY 64 in Murphy, North Carolina.

Suspect handed a teller a note stating it was a robbery and demanding money. The suspect escaped on foot with an unknown amount of cash in a blue bank bag. Suspect fled the scene on foot. Law enforcement needs assistance in identifying the suspect.

Suspect description is as follows:
White Male
Height: Approximately:5’5”, 165 lbs, medium complexion.
Brown hair, mustache and unshaven
Suspect was last seen wearing grey zipper hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a brown and white baseball cap and tennis shoes.

 Consider armed and dangerous.
