The Cherokee County Sheriffs’ Office is accepting applications for PART-TIME employment in the following areas within the agency: DEPUTY SHERIFF, DETENTION OFFICER, and TRANSPORT OFFICER AND OFFICE ASSISTANTS.

VICTIM ADVOCATE RESPONSE TEAM UNIT
 

The Victim Advocate Response Team Unit was established to meet the high demand of Victim Advocacy after regular business hours. Each team member is trained to provide immediate on-scene services to victims of violent crime and responds for all local law enforcement agencies. The Unit is further equipped with vehicles, pagers, radios, cameras, and information on local resources so that a seamless response to the victim is possible.   
 

The Victim Advocate Unit also coordinates Neighborhood Watch programs throughout the county, as requested. For more information on any of the services provided by this Response Team Unit, please call 837-2589 and ask for Stephanie Thompson (ext 249.)
