The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners is seeking letters of interest from persons interested in serving on an Ad Hoc Committee to discuss concerns related to loss of telephone landlines in Cherokee County. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please submit a letter of interest, no later than August 10th at 5:00 p.m., to maria.hass@cherokeecounty-nc.gov, or via hand-delivery to Office of the Clerk to the Board, Suite 211, 75 Peachtree Street, Murphy. Letters of Interest should include name, address, and contact number, along with an introduction and statement of why you are interested in serving on the committee. The Committee will consist of five (5) community members and a county commissioner. Ideally, committee members would represent various communities across Cherokee County.
