The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners has called a Special Meeting for Monday, March 30th at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of filling two vacancies on the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners expect at this time that the Cherokee County Republican Executive Committee will present recommendations for filling the two vacancies on the Board of Commissioners. Once the Board of Commissioners has voted to accept the nominations and appoint the new commissioners, the newly appointed commissioners will take their oath of office. Once all board members are seated at the dais, the meeting will adjourn.
