    The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners January 18th meeting, which also included a public hearing on the noise ordinance, has been rescheduled to January 24, 2022. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed Noise Ordinance. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the main courtroom of the Cherokee County Courthouse, located at 75 Peachtree Street, Murphy, NC. Copies of the ordinance can be obtained from the office of the Clerk to the Board at the address above, or by visiting www.cherokeecounty-nc.gov and clicking the Public Hearing Notice at the top of the Home page.
